"Pana-vision" is the fourth single by the English rock band the Smile, released on 3 April 2022. It is included on their debut album, ''A Light for Attracting Attention.'' Music video An animated visualizer directed by Sabrina Nichols, using imagery by the Radiohead artist Stanley Donwood, was released alongside on 3 April 2022. ''Mxdwn.com'' writer Lauren Floyd called the video "cinematic", saying it features "dramatically elongated and drawn out shapes and figures ... parallel to Yorke's airy falsetto". On July 20, 2022, the scene from the series finale of the British television series ''Peaky Blinders'' that used "Pana-vision" in full three months earlier was uploaded as a separate live-action music video for the song. ''A Light for Attracting Attention'' is the debut studio album by the English rock band the Smile. It was digitally released through XL Recordings on 13 May, 2022, with a physical release on 17 June. The Smile comprises the Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood with the drummer Tom Skinner. Yorke provided vocals, and he and Greenwood played guitar, bass and keyboards. The album was produced by Radiohead's longtime producer Nigel Godrich. It was released on 20 March 2022 as the third single from the Smile's debut album, ''A Light for Attracting Attention,'' by XL Recordings. Jason Yarde (born 1970) is an English jazz saxophonist, composer, arranger, producer and music director. Hugh Brunt is a British conductor. He shares with Robert Ames the positions of artistic director and principal conductor of the London Contemporary Orchestra. The London Contemporary Orchestra (LCO), founded in 2008 by Hugh Brunt and Robert Ames, is an ensemble of young musicians whose stated aim is "to explore and promote new music to an increasingly wide audience". Tom Skinner (drummer)
Tom Skinner is an English drummer, percussionist, and record producer. He co-founded the jazz band Sons of Kemet and is a member of the rock band the Smile. He has released two albums under the name Hello Skinny. His first album under his own name, '' Voices of Bishara'', was released in November 2022. Career Skinner began playing drums at the age of nine. He enjoyed 1990s grunge and metal bands such as Napalm Death, before discovering experimental jazz musicians such as John Zorn and Ornette Coleman.
