Pan-Atlantic University
Pan-Atlantic University is a private, non-profit educational institution in Lekki, Lagos State. Timeline The university had its origin as the Lagos Business School (LBS), established in 1991. The federal government approved the university as Pan-African University in 2002, and the LBS became its first school. The Ajah Campus was completed in 2003 and in 2010 work began on the Ibeju-Lekki campus. The School of Media and Communication (SMC) was approved in 2006 by the Pan-Atlantic University Council in recognition of the critical role of this sector in shaping societal values and cultural life. The School evolved directly from the Centre for Media and Communication. Henry Odein Ajumogobia (born 29 June 1956) is a Nigerian lawyer who served as Minister of State for Petroleum Resources between 2007 and 2009 and Minister of Foreign Affairs from April 2010 to July 2011.
