Pamela Tola
Pamela Tola (born 15 October 1981) is a Finnish actress and director. Tola was born in Ruotsinpyhtää, Finland. She has appeared on television since 2003. She appeared in the 2005 film '' Paha maa'' (Frozen Land), and starred as the main character in the 2006 film '' Saippuaprinssi'' (Soap Prince), both times working with Mikko Leppilampi. In 2008, Tola graduated with MA from the Theatre Academy's Department of Theatre and Drama. In 2018, she directed her first feature film '' Swingers'', followed by '' Ladies of Steel'' in 2020. Personal life Tola and her film producer husband Pauli Waroma filed for divorce in August 2011. They have two sons together. In 2015 she married actor Lauri Tilkanen with whom she has a son born in 2014. Kumman Kaa
''Kumman kaa'' (''With which one'') is a Finnish television comedy series that aired on Nelonen from 2003 to 2005. The series was written by Minna Koskela and Heli Sutela, who also played the lead roles. The first season was directed by Johanna Vuoksenmaa, and the second season by Lauri Nurkse. The music was composed by the band Aavikko. Overview The first season of the series was filmed in 2001 but was not broadcast until February 24, 2003. The series has been rebroadcast multiple times and is available on the Ruutu streaming platform. It has been released on two double-DVD sets. Koskela and Sutela also wrote a companion book titled ''Kumman kaa: Perusasiat haltuun'' (Nemo, 2005). ''Almost 18'' () is a 2012 Finnish film. It is the first feature film by director Maarit Lalli who also wrote the screenplay with her son Henrik Mäki-Tanila, one of the main actors in the film. Plot ''Kohta 18'' tells six stories of five teenage boys on the edge of adulthood. Karri, Pete, André, Akseli and Joni are dealing with same issues as every other young man; fears and hopes for future, disillusions and problems with parents. Henrik Mäki-Tanila has said that some parts of the stories are taken from his own experiences as a teenager, as well as from the lives of his friends.
