Pamela Casey
Pamela Casey is an American politician. A member of the Alabama Republican Party, she has served as the District Attorney for Blount County since 2010. Early life Casey was born in Boaz, Alabama, but grew up in Snead, Alabama. Career Casey was first elected as the Blount County District Attorney in 2010, becoming the first woman elected to countywide office in decades. She was also the youngest ever person elected to the office. In 2023, she criticized the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles for failing to monitor violent inmates released from Alabama prisons. In 2025, she said that the Blount County sheriff threatened to harass her over her prosecution of a friend of the sheriff. Boaz, Alabama
Boaz is a city in Marshall and Etowah counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. The Marshall County portion of the city is part of the Albertville Micropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2020 census, the city's population was 10,107. Boaz was known for its outlet shops. History First settled in the 1850s, the town of Boaz was officially founded November 11, 1878, by the Sparks family of Georgia. A post office has been in operation since 1887.
