Paloncha
Palvancha is a city in Bhadradri district of the Indian state of Telangana.It was a portion of large Zamindari estate known as Husanabad Shankaragiri or Palvancha Zamindari in the Nizam's Dominion. It's a twin City of Kothagudem. Kancharla Gopanna, also known as Bhakta Ramadasu, was a saint and composer who was the Tahsildar of Palwancha Paragana during the reign of Abdul Hasan Tana Shah. He was a member of the Kancherla family, which held prominent positions in the court of the Sultans of Golconda. Kothagudem Thermal Power Station is located at Palwancha in Telangana, India. The power plant has an installed capacity of 1,800 MW with 4 units in operation. Kinnerasani River
Kinnerasani is an important tributary of Godavari flowing through the Warangal and Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Bhadradri districts of Telangana and Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh. In the Khammam District, a dam known as the Kinnerasani Dam is built on this river. The back waters of the dam are surrounded by verdant hills and come to be protected under the precincts of the Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary. Bhadradri Kothagudem district is a district in the east of the Indian state of Telangana. Kothagudem is the district headquarters. It is the largest district in Telangana, with an area of 7483 km2. The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) is a state government agency which promotes tourism in Telangana, India. Kancharla Gopanna
Kancharla Gopanna () ( – 1688), popularly known as Bhakta Ramadasu or Bhadrachala Ramadasu (), was a 17th-century devotee of the Hindu god Rama, a saint-poet and a composer of Carnatic music. He is a famous ''Vaggeyakara'' (classical composer) from the Telugu classical era. He was born in the village of Nelakondapalli in Khammam district, and orphaned as a teenager. He spent his later years in Bhadrachalam and 14 years in solitary confinement at the Golconda prison during the Qutb Shahi rule. Different mythical stories about his life circulate in the Telugu tradition.
