Paloma Del Río
Paloma del Río Cañadas (born 4 April 1960) is a Spanish journalist. She covers rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, figure skating, and Equestrianism, equestrian competitions for Televisión Española (TVE). She has held various positions in TVE's sports directorate – editor-in-chief (2009), director of sports programs (2009–2013), and currently coordinator of sponsorships and federations. She has covered several European and World Championships, as well as eight Summer Olympic Games, Summer and six Winter Olympic Games, Winter Olympic Games. In 2015 she was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Order of Sports Merit, and that same year, she published her autobiographical book ''Enredando en la memoria'' (''Tangled in Memory''). Susana Mendizábal
Susana Mendizábal (born 29 January 1962) is a former Spanish rhythmic and artistic gymnast. She is the first Spaniard to win a medal in the European Championships, winning bronze in 1978. Personal life She is married and has two children: María and Jorge. Career Susana began her career as a gymnast at the age of 7. Three years later she trained daily at the Club Natación Metropole in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and participated in her first Spanish Artistic Gymnastics Championship. In 1974 she traveled to Madrid to join the national team of artistic gymnastics under Ramón García Pascual. The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is a competition for rhythmic gymnastics sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the few tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the World Championships (including the Junior World Championships), the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games and the Youth Olympics, and the rhythmic gymnastics events at the World Games. The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). The Spanish Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship is the most important national rhythmic gymnastics competition in Spain. It is organized annually since 1975 by the Royal Spanish Federation of Gymnastics and today, since 2010, it is called the Spanish Championship of Individuals, Clubs and Autonomies. It is currently held in June and alongside the Spanish Men's Individual Championship.
