Pallasca District
Pallasca District is one of 11 districts of the Pallasca Province in the Ancash region in Peru. Location Located in the North end of the Ancash Mountain range, Pallasca is one of eleven districts of the Province of the same name and is bordered, in the south, by the districts of Huacaschuqué and Huandoval; in the east, by Lacabambá and Pampas; in the west, by Bolognesí, and in the north by Santiago de Chuco Province in La Libertad. It is situated approximately 3150 metres above sea level. The population of the District of Pallasca is 5000 inhabitants. Cabana District (Ancash)

Cabana is a city in Peru. It is the capital of both the Cabana District and the Province of Pallasca in the Ancash Region of northern Peru. Cabana was founded on January 2, 1857, although human habitation there likely predates arrival of the Spanish Conquistadors. The city is divided into four neighborhoods: *Huayumaca *Pacchamaca *San Jerónimo *Trujillo Cabana is the birthplace of former President Alejandro Toledo. History Cabana was founded in 1711 with the name of "Caguana" which means "To repair" or "to contemplate" in the Cully Language (former language of this region) according to an old legend. When the Spanish conquerors arrived to Caguana, the name was mispronounced and started to say "Cabana" instead of Caguana. Cabana was officially created by the Provisional Regulations on February 12, 1821 and then comprised to the vast province of Conchucos. Bolognesi District
The District of Bolognesi ( es, Distrito de Bolognesi) is one of 11 districts which are part of the Pallasca Province in Ancash, Peru. To the north, it borders with the Pallasca District, to the east with the Huandoval District, to the south with the Cabana District and the Tauca District, and to the west with the La Libertad Region. Bolognesi was known as Mormorullo and was part of the Cabana District until it was declared a district on its own on July 15, 1936. Population According to the national statistics bureau of Peru, INEI, Bolognesi has a population above 1.500 inhabitants. The primary occupations are livestock and agriculture.
