Putharachal is a village located in India, Tamil Nadu, Tirupur district. 15 km from town of Palladam. It has a population of 2000. It has regular bus transportation to all near major cities of west Tamil Nadu such as Coimbatore, Madurai, Dharapuram, Tirupur and Palladam. Agriculture Agriculture is the main occupation here. Kongu Tamil
Kongu Tamil or Kovai Tamil (also called Kongalam, Kongu Pechu, Coimbatore Tamil) is the dialect of Tamil language that is spoken by the people in Kongu Nadu, which is the western region of Tamil Nadu. It is originally known as "Kangee"` or "Kongalam" or "Kongappechu or Kongu bashai or Coimbatore Tamil".
