It is named after former world heavyweight boxing champion Primo Carnera, who was born in Sequals, near Udine. Pallalcesto Amatori Udine, better known by the sponsorship name Snaidero Udine, was an Italian professional basketball club based in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
