Palam Assembly constituency is one of the 70 Delhi Legislative Assembly constituencies of the National Capital Territory in northern India. Overview Present geographical structure of Palam constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002. Kuldeep Solanki
Kuldeep Solanki (born 1967) is an Indian politician from Delhi. He is a member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly from Palam Assembly constituency in South West Delhi district. He won the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election representing the Bharatiya Janata Party. Early life and education Solanki is from Palam, New Delhi. He is the son of late Ram Roop Solanki. He studied till Class 10 Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi and passed his matriculation examination in 1983. Later, he discontinued his studies. He declared assets of over Rs.13 crore before the 2025 election. Career Solanki won the Palam Assembly constituency representing the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election. He polled 82,046 votes and defeated his nearest rival, Jogindar Solanki of the Aam Aadmi Party, by a margin of 8,952 votes. References

Palam (phonetically Pālam) is a major residential colony located in South West district of NCT of Delhi, India. It is one of 70 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of the Delhi National Capital Territory in northern India. History Palam is listed in the Ain-i-Akbari as a pargana under Delhi sarkar, producing a revenue of 5,726,787 dams for the imperial treasury and supplying a force of 1000 infantry and 70 cavalry. The Delhi Legislative Assembly election was held on 7 February 2015 to elect 70 members of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi. The results were announced on 10 February 2015. Mahendra Yadav (Indian Politician)
Mahendra Yadav (1949/1950 5 July 2020) was a politician in the Indian National Congress. He was an MLA from Delhi's Palam constituency in 1998. He was convicted in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Death Yadav died on 4 July 2020 at the age of 70 from COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Mahendra Yadav was serving sentence in jail 14 at Mandoli Jail, a sub-jail of Tihar Jail. After a prisoner died from COVID-19 on June 15, all 29 prisoners were tested, with 17 positive and 12 negative results.
