Palak Kohli
Palak Kohli (born 12 August 2002) is an Indian professional para-badminton athlete player from Jalandhar. Personal life Palak Kohli comes from Jalandhar. She studied in St.Joseph's Convent school. Career Kohli trains in the national training camp under Gaurav Khanna Gaurav Khanna (born 11 December 1981) is an Indian television actor and model. He is known for his roles of Neil in '' Jeevan Saathi'', Inspector Kavin in ''CID'' and Akshay in '' Tere Bin''. He currently portrays Anuj Kapadia in Star Plus's '' ..., who is the head coach of Indian para-badminton team. In April 2021, she and Manasi Joshi both reached the finals of the Dubai Para-Badminton International at their respective singles category. She was beaten by Megan Hollander in the SU5 final. Kohli is the only para badminton athlete from the country to qualify for both singles and women's doubles for Tokyo Paralympics 2021. Para-badminton is a variant of badminton for athletes with a range of physical disabilities. Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the main governing body for para-badminton starting from June 2011. The sport was governed by Para Badminton World Federation (PBWF) until a unanimous decision to join BWF during a meeting in Dortmund in June 2011. Manasi Girishchandra Joshi (born 11 June 1989) is an Indian para-badminton player. She is a former world champion in para badminton women's singles SL3 category. On 8 March 2022, she was ranked world No.1 in women's singles SL3 category. Early life and background Manasi was born in Rajkot, Gujarat and she was raised in Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.
