2012 Uzbekistan First League
The 2012 Uzbekistan First League was the 21st season of 2nd level football in Uzbekistan since 1992. It is split in an Eastern and Western zone, each featuring 12 teams. Teams and locations Note: In 2012 season ''Dynamo Ghallakor'' renamed to Ghallakor-Avtomobilchi, ''Jaykhun Nukus'' to FK Orol Nukus, ''Bunyodkor Qo'qon 1912'' to Qo'qon 1912 and '' FC Erkurgan'' to FC Yoshlik Competition format League consists of two regional groups: zone "East" and "West". 2012 Uzbekistan Cup
The 2012 Uzbekistan Cup is the 20th season of the annual Uzbek football Cup competition. The Cup draw was held on January 25, 2012 in Tashkent. The competition started on 23 March 2012 and ended on 30 November 2012 with the final at the Pakhtakor Markaziy Stadium in Tashkent. FC Pakhtakor are the defending champions. Ilhom Mo'minjonov
Ilhom Moʻminjonov, also spelt Ilkhom Muminjonov (, ) (born 21 January 1979 in Tashkent) is a former Uzbek footballer. Club career He scored three goals en route to a 3–2 Uzbek cup final defeat to Pakhtakor in 2004 where he came on at half-time. In 2007, he was awarded the Uzbek League Top Scorer award with 21 goals; 5 for Lokomotiv Tashkent and the remaining 16 for Kuruvchi (renamed Bunyodkor in 2008) who purchased him during the season. Mo'minjonov scored 102 goals in Uzbek League and Uzbek Cup matches, entering the Gennadi Krasnitsky club. Managing career He retired from football in 2009, and is now working within the Bunyodkor academ. In 2011, he became head coach of Tashkent football club NBU Osiyo in First League. Numon Khasanov
Numon Khasanov () is an Uzbekistani football manager and former player who is head coach of Khujand. A forward, he played for Uzbekistan in the 1996 Asian Cup. Playing career Khasanov played for Pakhtakor, MHSK Tashkent, Rubin, Dustlik, Nasaf Qarshi and Traktor Tashkent. He won his first championship in Uzbek League with Pakhtakor Tashkent in 1992. In 1997, he won Uzbek League with MHSK Tashkent and twice with Dustlik in 1999, 2000. In 1998, he moved to Rubin Kazan and completed 8 matches for the club. His last station was Lokomotiv Tashkent where he played in 2009. He scored 126 goals in Uzbek League, entering Gennadi Krasnitsky club. In his career he scored in all competitions totally 153 goals. The Pakhtakor Central Stadium ( Uzbek: ''Paxtakor markaziy stadioni'') is a multi-purpose stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It is one of the main stadiums in Uzbekistan, located in the center of Tashkent, in Shaykhantahur District. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 fans. It is the home stadium of Pakhtakor FC. In addition, the Uzbekistan national football team played some matches at the stadium. From 1992 until 2012, Pakhtakor Stadium was the main stadium, where the Uzbekistan national football team played home games. Pakhtakor Football Club () is an Uzbek professional football club, based in the capital city of Tashkent, that competes in the Uzbekistan Super League. Pakhtakor is often considered the most successful football club in Uzbekistan.
