Pajuniemi is a village located in Suodenniemi, Sastamala in Pirkanmaa, Finland. In the east it borders Lake Kourajärvi, in the north the village of Suodenniemi and in the west the border of Pori. Suodenniemi
Suodenniemi is a former municipality of southwestern Finland. Suodenniemi was first consolidated into Vammala in 2007. On 1 January 2009, Vammala itself was consolidated with Äetsä and Mouhijärvi to form the new named town of Sastamala. Geography Suodenniemi was located in western Pirkanmaa region, and was part of the former provinces of Turku and Pori Province (1917 to 1997) and Western Finland Province (1997 to 2009). Sastamala () is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the Pirkanmaa region. The town has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water, making it the largest municipality in the Pirkanmaa region in terms of area. The population density is . The municipality is unilingually Finnish. Sastamala was created on January 1, 2009, when the municipalities of Vammala, Äetsä and Mouhijärvi were consolidated into a single town. Later, Kiikoinen also joined Sastamala in 2013.
