Paipra Radhakrishnan
Paipra Radhakrishnan is a Malayalam writer, columnist, editor and cultural observer. He was the Secretary of Kerala Sahitya Akademi during the period 1991-1995. He is the president of Akshaya Pusthaka Nidhi, and Director, Arshavidyapeedom. He writes the much acclaimed cultural critic column ''Aazhchavettom'' in ''Kalakaumudi'' weekly. He has authored many books of short stories, essays, and children's literature. He represented Kerala in many international and national literary events and book festivals. Personal life Paipra Radhakrishnan was born in a small village of Paipra, in Ernakulam district to Vadakkanchery Akathoottu Bhargavi Kunjamma and Methala Thattayath Puthankottayil Neelakandan Karthav. Paipra
Paipra (near Pezhakkappilly) is a small village in Muvattupuzha Taluka of Ernakulam district of Kerala state, south India. Location Paipra is located at the centre of a triangle formed by four medium-sized towns: Muvattupuzha, Banttaraptzhu Perumbavoor and Kothamangalam. Joseph Mundassery
Joseph Mundassery (17 July 1903 – 25 October 1977) was a literary critic and Indian politician from Kerala state. He specialised in the Malayalam language and literature. In Kerala politics, he is remembered as the Education Minister who was behind the controversial Education Bill of the first EMS communist ministry of 1957. Early life Joseph Mundassery was born at Kandasankadavu, Thrissur. After his schooling locally he took his bachelor's degree in Physics and later a master's degree in Sanskrit and Malayalam. Until 1952, he was the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at St. Thomas College, Trichur. The Kerala Sahitya Akademi or Academy for Malayalam Literature is an autonomous body established to promote the Malayalam language and Malayalam literature, literature.
