Paint The Night
''Paint the Night Parade'' is a nighttime parade at Hong Kong Disneyland on Lantau Island, Hong Kong and at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The Hong Kong version premiered on September 11, 2014, as part of the park's 9th anniversary expansion. The California version debuted at Disneyland on May 22, 2015, as part of the park's 60th anniversary Diamond Celebration. The parade is a spiritual successor to the long-running Main Street Electrical Parade, which has appeared at numerous Disney parks (except Hong Kong Disneyland) in several different incarnations since June 17, 1972. On January 25, 2020, Hong Kong Disneyland‘s version of the parade made its final performance due to the COVID-19 outbreak's impact on China. In October 2024, the California version was announced to be returning to Disneyland Park as part of the Disneyland Resort's 70th anniversary celebration. Light Magic
Light Magic was a nighttime parade/street show that ran at Disneyland in 1997 from May–September. It was billed as a replacement for the Main Street Electrical Parade. At the time of its closure, Disney officially stated that it would return in 2000, but it ultimately did not return. Infrastructure improvements made specifically for Light Magic – particularly in Fantasyland – are still used today. The show utilized over 4500 miles of fiber optic cables and 1520 strobe lights. Synopsis Light Magic was a "streetacular" (a portmanteau of "street" and "spectacular"). Floats moved into two performance zones, one at the Small World Mall in Fantasyland, and the other on Main Street. Red Car Trolley
The Red Car Trolley was a tramway and transportation attraction at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Construction began on January 4, 2010, and the attraction opened on June 15, 2012, as part of the re-dedication of the park. The attraction featured cars inspired by the Pacific Electric Railway's "Red Cars" that once traversed much of Southern California. It provided transportation between the park's main entry at Buena Vista Street and Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Land. In August 2024, it was announced that the Red Car Trolley would close in early 2025 as the backstage trolley barn will be removed to make way for expansion plans for Avengers Campus. Disney California Adventure is a theme park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company through its Experiences division. The park is themed after Disney's interpretation of California, by the use of Disney, Pixar and Marvel properties.
