Pains (pronounced: pah-EENS) is a Brazil, Brazilian Municipalities of Brazil, municipality that is located in the center of the Federative units of Brazil, state of Minas Gerais. Its population as of 2024 was approximately 8000 people living in a total area of 418 km². The city belongs to the meso-region of Oeste de Minas and to the micro-region of Formiga, Minas Gerais, Formiga. It became a municipality in 1943.
