Paganese Calcio 1926
Paganese Calcio 1926 is an Italian association football club from Pagani, Campania. It currently plays in Serie D. History The club was founded in 1926. Paganese also took part in the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1978, achieving a single victory and three defeats. The club won Serie D/H in 2005–2006 and have thus won promotion to Serie C2 for the 2006–2007 season. A second consecutive promotion in the Serie C2 competition of 2006–07, after defeating SPAL and Reggiana in the playoffs, gave Paganese the right to play in Serie C1 in the 2007–08 season, their first appearance in the division since 1979. At the end of the 2010–11 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season the club was relegated to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. 2011–12 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione
The 2011–12 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione season was the thirty-fourth football league season of Italian Lega Pro Seconda Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the fourth since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, and the playoff phase. Historically, the league was composed of 54 teams divided into three divisions of 18 teams each. This year, due to a significant reduction in qualified teams, it was decided that the league would be composed of 40 teams divided into two divisions (''gironi'') divided geographically. Catanzaro was re-admitted to the league after being previously excluded, increasing the number of teams to 41. Girone A is composed of 20 teams, and girone B is composed of 21 teams. Casertana Football Club is an Italian association football club based in Caserta, Campania. The club currently plays in Serie C. History The club was founded in 1908 as Robur Caserta and became known as Unione Sportiva Casertana from 1928 until 2005 when the club was excluded due to financial issues. The club also had two stints in Serie B in 1970–71 and 1991–92. The club was refounded in 2005 as A.S. Caserta Calcio and was later renamed A.S. Casertana Calcio.
