Sasi Shanker
Sasi Shanker (1957 – 10 August 2016) was an Indian film director. He directed a total of twelve films including ten Malayalam films and two Tamil films. He won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues in 1993 for his directorial debut film '' Naaraayam''. Career Shanker pursued his career in filmmaking as an assistant director to the prominent Malayalam director P. A. Backer and Shanker collaborated with Backer in three of his films. He later joined hands with Sathyan Anthikad as his assistant director with whom he had worked in nearly 30 films. After gaining a significant learning curve and knowledge by being an assistant director in over 30 films, he plied his trade by venturing into independent filmmaking. Santhana Bharathi
Santhana Bharathi is an Indian film director and actor who has primarily worked in Tamil cinema. He directed '' Gunaa'' (1991), which won third prize for the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film. Ambani Shankar is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil films. He has appeared in films including '' Ji'' (2005) and '' Ambasamudram Ambani'' (2010), and garnered his stage name from the latter film. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with '' Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, a thief named Marimuthu ( Vadivelu) breaks into the shop and calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store is closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night. Death Chelladurai was admitted to Keezhpakkam Government Hospital in Chennai due to kidney issues on 8 February after having problems for several months.
