Padmarajan Award
The Padmarajan Award (Padmarajan Puraskaram) is instituted by Padmarajan Memorial Trust in memory of author and filmmaker P. Padmarajan. The award was initially given for two categories—Best Short Story and Best Feature Film—but have since included new categories—Best Novel, Best Director and Best Screenwriter. Sethu (writer)
A. Sethumadhavan (born 5 June 1942), popularly known as Sethu, is a Malayalam fiction writer. He has published more than 35 books. He won the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award in 2007 for the work ''Adayalangal''. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Awards in 1982 and 1978 for his works ''Pandavapuram'' and ''Pediswapnangal''; and Vayalar Award for ''Adyalangal'' in 2006. He also won Odakkuzhal award for his novel ''Marupiravi.'' Sethu's other literary works include ''Velutha Koodarangal, Thaliyola, Kiratham, Niyogam, Sethuvinte Kathakal'' and ''Kaimudrakal''. He also served as the chairman and CEO of the South Indian Bank. In 2022, he won the Ezhuthachan Puraskaram, highest literary honour of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi. Lenin Rajendran
Lenin Rajendran was an Indian film director and screenwriter who worked in Malayalam cinema. He served as the Chairman of Kerala State Film Development Corporation from 2016 to January 2019. Career Beginning his film-making career as an assistant to director P. A. Backer, Rajendran made his directorial debut with ''Venal'' (1982). From his first film to his latest one, Edavappathy (2016), Rajendran has been consistent with the quality of his films, not surrendering to market forces even while using the form and stars of popular cinema. Ambazhathil Karunakaran Lohithadas (10 May 1955 – 28 June 2009) was an Indian screenwriter, playwright, film maker, and producer who worked in the Malayalam film industry. In a career spanning over two decades, his films have won a National Film Award, six Kerala State Film Awards, and fourteen Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Script. Madampu Sankaran Namboothiri (23 June 1941 − 11 May 2021), popularly known as Madampu Kunjukuttan, was a Malayalam actor, author and screenplay writer.
