Paddayi
''Paddayi'' () is a 2018 Indian Tulu-language drama film directed by Abhaya Simha. The film stars Mohan Sheni, Bindu Rakshidhi, Chandrahas Ullal, Gopinath Bhat, Avinash Rai, Sadashiv Ninasam, Shrinidhi Achar, Prabhakar Kapikad, Vani Peruvodi, Ravi Bhat, Mallika and others. The movie is an adaptation of Shakespeare's ''Macbeth''. Plot PADDAYI is a modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare's epic drama, ‘Macbeth’. This version of Macbeth plays out in a tiny village in the borders of a modern city in coastal Karnataka, India. The characters in the film belong to an indigenous community of fishermen. Abhaya Simha
Abhaya Simha is a Kannada film director and screenwriter. He was born and brought up in Mangalore, Karnataka, INDIA. He did his graduation from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. He studied Kannada, English Literature and Journalism. After that he specialized in Film Direction from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He started his film career in Bangalore in 2007. His debut venture ''Gubbachchigalu'' won the National Award for the best children's film for the year 2008. His second venture was a bilingual movie named '' Shikari''. Shikari was released in March 2012 across Karnataka and Kerala. His third film was Sakkare in Kannada starring Ganesh (actor). It was released across Karnataka in November 2013. Manikanth Kadri
Manikanth Kadri is an Indian film score, soundtrack composer and singer. He has predominantly scored music for Kannada as well as several Telugu, Tamil, Tulu, and Malayalam films. He is the son of legendary saxophonist Kadri Gopalnath. Career Manikanth started out his career by composing for jingles and devotional albums. He also composed for a title track of a Malayalam tele-serial ''Annu Mazhayayirunnu'' and won the Kerala State Award for best music. He released his first instrumental album called ''Dream Journey'' in the year 2001 and also tasted success. He also scored for background for an English feature film ''Tantric Journal''.
