Padarn United F.C. is a Welsh football club based in Llanbadarn Fawr, Ceredigion. The team currently plays in the . History Padarn United are known to have existed as early as 1895, playing friendlies against other local teams in the Aberystwyth area. For the 1906–07 season, Padarn played in the Aberystwyth Junior League. In 1921, Padarn were founder members of the Cardiganshire League, where they won the league title in 1923–24. In 1934 they were founder members of the Aberystwyth League. In 1988 and 1997, Padarn United were champions of the Aberystwyth League. Their second title was in the same season they won the J. Emrys Morgan Cup, beating Llanrhystud in the final. After their successful 1996–97 season, Padarn United gained promotion to the Mid Wales Football League, where they would finish second in their only season. Llanbadarn Fawr () is a village and community (Wales), community in Ceredigion, Wales. It is on the outskirts of Aberystwyth next to Penparcau and Southgate. It forms the eastern part of the continually built-up area of Aberystwyth. It holds two electoral wards, Padarn and Sulien which elect a Ceredigion County Councillor each and several Llanbadarn Fawr Community Councillors. Aberystwyth (; ) is a University town, university and seaside town and a community (Wales), community in Ceredigion, Wales. The Central Wales Football League ''(formerly the Mid Wales Football League)'' is a football league in Wales at tier four of the Welsh Football pyramid, run by the Central Wales Football Association.
