PNOS
The Swiss Nationalist Party (, abbreviated to PNOS; , abbreviated to PNS; ) was a Neo-Nazi '' völkisch'' political party in Switzerland founded in 2000. It was classified as "extremist" by the Swiss federal police in 2001. The party's course was initially imitating that of the 1930s National Front with a clearly National Socialist ideology (dubbed " eidgenössisch-sozialistisch" by the PNOS) but has since been "modernized" in accordance with the vocabulary of Germany's ''Neue Rechte''. The party was not represented in any cantonal parliament. Its activities were mostly confined to the Swiss German-speaking parts of the western Swiss plateau. It had one representative in the municipal parliament of Langenthal, canton of Bern (population 14,300), elected in 2004. Denis Yevgenyevich Kapustin (; born 6 March 1984), commonly known as Denis Nikitin () or by his nom-de-guerre White Rex, is a Russian-German neo-Nazi * activist, former football hooligan, and militant. Kapustin became a subject of a Schengen Area-wide entry ban since spring of 2019. Langenthal is a town and a municipality in the district of Oberaargau in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. On 1 January 2010 the municipality of Untersteckholz merged into the Langenthal. On 1 January 2021 the former municipality of Obersteckholz merged into Langenthal. Langenthal is an educational, cultural, and economic center for the region of Oberaargau. History Archeological evidence suggests that early settlements existed around 4000 B.C. in the Langenthal area. A Hallstatt necropolis with twelve grave mounds has been found at Unterhard. Bettwiesen is a municipality in the district of Münchwilen in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland. History Bettwiesen is first mentioned in 868 as ''Petterwison''. During the Middle Ages it belonged to the Prince-Bishop of Constance's Tannegg district. In 1693 the entire district went to the monastery of Fischingen. The monastery had, since the Late Middle Ages, owned land in Bettwiesen and had built a castle in 1627. St. Mary's Chapel in Bettwiesen was first mentioned in 1275 and was part of the parish of Wil under the monastery. The village converted to the new faith during the Protestant Reformation in 1530, but converted back to the Catholic faith during the Counter-Reformation in 1542. Federal elections were held in Switzerland on 23 October 2011. All of the Federal Assembly were to be elected: all 200 seats in the National Council and all 46 seats in the Council of States.
