PG Roxette is a Swedish pop rock group, established by Per Gessle in 2021. History In September 2021, Per Gessle, Helena Josefsson, Dea Norberg, Clarence Öfwerman, Magnus Börjeson, Christoffer Lundquist and Jonas Isacsson, as PG Roxette contributed a cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" for the tribute album ''The Metallica Blacklist''. In 2022, Per Gessle announced Roxette would continue under the name PG Roxette. He explained: "Since the 80's, my whole life has been spinning around Roxette and to this day it's still what excites me the most. At first, I wasn't sure which way to go, but as time passed by it became clear that I want to continue this. I want to keep the legacy of Roxette alive." ''Pop-Up Dynamo!'' is the debut studio album by Swedish pop band PG Roxette, released on 19 October 2022 by Elevator Entertainment and Parlophone. The band was formed by Roxette songwriter Per Gessle following the death of vocalist Marie Fredriksson in 2019. The album was recorded alongside several long-time Roxette contributors, including keyboardist and producer Clarence Öfwerman, bassist Magnus Börjeson, guitarists Jonas Isacsson and Christoffer Lundquist, and vocalists Helena Josefsson and Dea Norberg. Clarence Öfwerman
Clarence Öfwerman (born 22 November 1957) is a Swedish record producer and musician, best known as the longtime producer of Roxette, having been with the band from their debut album, ''Pearls of Passion'', in 1986, through to 2016's '' Good Karma'', their last studio album. He coproduced ''Pop-Up Dynamo!'', an album issued in 2022 by Per Gessle under the name PG Roxette. He is the older brother of former Roxette percussionist, keyboardist, and backing vocalist Staffan Öfwerman.
