Linton Vassell was scheduled to face Oleg Popov in a heavyweight tournament bout at this event. However, on April 28, it was announced he has pulled out of the bout and was replaced by Karl Williams. Before event started, the promotion announced the matchup between Sullivan Cauley and Marcelo Nunes was changed with Nunes withdrawing from the bout and being replaced by former LFA Heavyweight Champion Alex Polizzi. Professional Fighters League
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is an American mixed martial arts league founded by venture capitalist Donn Davis in 2017 and launched in 2018, following the acquisition and restructuring of the former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) promotion in 2017 by MMAX Investment Partners. It is the first major MMA organization in which individual athletes compete in a regular season, post-season and championship, rather than on a year-round basis. Valentin Igorevich Moldavsky (; born 6 February 1992) is a Russian mixed martial artist and combat sambo practitioner. He is currently competing for the PFL. He formerly competed for Bellator MMA, where he was an interim Heavyweight World Champion. He is also a two-time world and one-time European Sambo Champion in the +100 kg division. Rodrigo Nascimento Ferreira (born November 26, 1992) is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist, currently signed to the PFL. He competed in the Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Alexandr Romanov (born December 11, 1990) is a Moldovan professional mixed martial artist and freestyle wrestler who competes in the Heavyweight division of Professional Fighters League (PFL).
