The ''PFL 2'' mixed martial arts event for the 2024 season of the Professional Fighters League was held on April 12, 2024, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. This marked the second regular-season event of the tournament and included fights in the Lightweight (MMA), Lightweight and Light heavyweight (MMA), Light Heavyweight divisions. The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is an American mixed martial arts league founded by venture capitalist Donn Davis in 2017 and launched in 2018, following the acquisition and restructuring of the former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) promotion in 2017 by MMAX Investment Partners. It is the first major MMA organization in which individual athletes compete in a regular season, post-season and championship, rather than on a year-round basis. Bellator Lightweight Champion
Bellator MMA (formerly known as "Bellator Fighting Championships") was an American mixed martial arts promotion, and the following is a history of its champions in each weight class. At the time of its inception in 2008, CEO Bjorn Rebney founded Bellator Fighting Championships as a tournament based organization. Adam Piccolotti (born August 23, 1988) is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the Lightweight division of the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Background Born and raised in Half Moon Bay, California, Piccolotti competed in wrestling, baseball, and track and field at Half Moon Bay High School. He has an older brother. He started wrestling in the sixth grade, and was a league champion and state tournament qualifier. He formerly competed for Bellator MMA, where he was a one-time Bellator Lightweight World Champion.
