PFF National Training Centre
The PFF National Training Center or the National Football Center is a association football, football ground at the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park in Carmona, Cavite, Carmona, Cavite. History Plans to construct a football facility in Carmona, Cavite, Carmona, Cavite were announced as early as June 2014. The Philippine Football Federation signed a lease agreement for rights to land occupying an area of to build a training center, initially known as the National Teams Training Center, to be built under the $500 thousand FIFA Goal Project 3. The groundbreaking ceremony for the facility located within the San Lazaro Leisure Park, San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park of the Manila Jockey Club was held on 30 November 2014 and was led by then FIFA President Sepp Blatter. Carmona (), officially the City of Carmona (), is a Cities of the Philippines, component city in the Philippine Province, province of Cavite, Philippines. San Lazaro Leisure Park
The San Lazaro Leisure Park, officially known as the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park, is a mixed-used venue which features a racetrack in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines. It is the home of the Manila Jockey Club. The leisure park occupies a land and houses around 1,000 thoroughbreds as of 2015. Pagcor operates a Casino within the area. It also houses a small venue inside the turf building, for cockfighting. The venue hosts a casino and is planned to be the site of the National Teams Training Centre to be used by both the national men's and women's football team. Within the grounds of the leisure park venues to accommodate baseball, football, and wakeboarding are being built. A concert venue is also planned. Rizal Memorial Stadium
The Rizal Memorial Track and Football Stadium (simply known as the Rizal Memorial Stadium) is a stadium in Manila, Philippines. Part of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex which is designated by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines as a historical landmark, it served as the main stadium of the 1954 Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games on three occasions. The 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup was the 19th edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup, the quadrennial international football tournament in Asia competed by the women's national teams in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was originally scheduled to be held in Jordan between 7 and 22 April 2018, but later was changed to 6 to 20 April 2018. The tournament served as the final stage of Asian qualification for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, with the top five teams qualifying for the World Cup in France. Philippine Women's National Football Team
The Philippines women's national football team represents the Philippines in international women's association football competitions. It is managed by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), the sport's governing body in the country. The Philippine women's national football team was established in the 1980s and has been a regular participant in the AFC Women's Asian Cup since their first appearance in 1981 AFC Women's Championship, 1981, back when the tournament was known as the AFC Women's Championship. Artificial Turf
Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass, used in sports arenas, residential lawns and commercial applications that traditionally use grass. It is much more durable than grass and easily maintained without irrigation or trimming, although periodic cleaning is required. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines. The Ateneo collegiate men's varsity basketball team was not always called the Blue Eagles. It got the name Blue Eagles when Ateneo adopted the ''Eagle'' as its mascot in 1938. Ang Liga () is an inter-collegiate football tournament based in the Philippines. It serves as a pre-season tourney for competing football varsity teams from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), UAAP and other similar collegiate leagues, before the regular football tournaments begin within the second semester of the academic year. Ang Liga, was founded in 2003 by Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Technical Director and Philippines national football team assistant coach Jose Ariston Caslib and Marlon Maro, who served as the head coach of the Philippines national under-23 football team. DLSU Lady Booters
The De La Salle Lady Booters are the varsity women's football team of the De La Salle University. They compete at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), as well as at the PFF Women's League (PFFWL), the top flight domestic women's football league in the Philippines. UAAP The DLSU Lady Booters have won 11 titles in the UAAP. They hold the record of having the longest championship streak, winning four straight titles from UAAP Season 65 to 68 (2002–2005). They have also won three straight titles from UAAP Season 79 to 81 (2017–2019).
