PFC Ludogorets Razgrad Academy
Ludogorets III ( bg, Лудогорец III) or Ludogorets 3 is a Bulgarian amateur football team based in Razgrad. Founded in 2020, it is the third team of PFC Ludogorets Razgrad, and currently plays in Third League, the third level of Bulgarian football. Obliged to play one level below their main side, Ludogorets III is ineligible for promotion to Second League League, where plays the reserve team Ludogorets II, and also can not compete in the Bulgarian Cup. The Ludogorets Academy, founded in 2013, is the youth academy of Ludogorets Razgrad. History In August 2020 Ludogorets started a third team, which joined the Bulgarian Third League. Razgrad
Razgrad ( bg, Разград ) is a city in Northeastern Bulgaria in the valley of the Beli Lom river that falls within the historical and geographical region of Ludogorie (Deliorman). It is an administrative center of Razgrad Province. Etymology The suffix "grad" means city in Bulgarian, while the origin and the meaning of the first part "raz" is obscure. During the Second Bulgarian Empire, around the present city there was a settlement, mentioned by the names of ''Hrasgrad'', ''Hrazgrad'' and ''Hrizgrad. These names come from the name of the Bulgar and Slavic god Hors. History Razgrad was built upon the ruins of the Ancient Roman town of Abritus on the banks of the Beli Lom river. Abritus was built on a Thracian settlement of the 4th-5th century BC of unknown name. 2020–21 Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2020–21 Third Amateur Football League season was the 71st of the Bulgarian Third Amateur League. The group is equivalent to the third level of the Bulgarian football pyramid, comprising four divisions based on geographical areas. These divisions are the North-West, North-East, South-East, and South-West. The number of teams in each division varies, similarly to previous seasons. The season started on 8 August 2020, a delay of two weeks due to the COVID-19 situation in Bulgaria. The first round match between Etar's second team and Levski 2007 (Levski), which was originally to be held on 9 August, was postponed after Hristo Markov from the Veliko Tarnovo team tested positive for the virus. Diyan Donchev Angelov ( bg, Диян Дончев Ангелов) is a retired Bulgarian association football player who played professionally in Bulgaria, Spain and the United States. Zdravko Chavdarov (Bulgarian: Здравко Чавдаров; born 24 January 1981) is a Bulgarian footballer, currently playing as a goalkeeper for Rakovski. Career Zdravko started his career in Maritsa.
