PB Tangkas
Persatuan Bulu Tangkis Tangkas, more commonly known as PB Tangkas, is one of the oldest badminton clubs in Indonesia. Founded on February 21, 1951, in Jakarta, the club has achieved at least 10 world championship titles, 4 Olympic medals, 9 All England titles, and 10 Asian Games titles. History PB Tangkas was founded on February 21, 1951, in Jakarta by a group of badminton enthusiasts including R.D. Saputra, Soewarjo, Said, and Kosasih. The club was established three months before the founding of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI). Initially, its activities were held on a simple empty court on Jalan Barito I, Kebayoran Baru. The primary goal was to provide a space for its members to regularly play badminton. The Suhandinata family became involved in the early 1960s when Justian Suhandinata joined PB Tangkas at age 11. In 1961, when club founder R.D. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racket (sports equipment), racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net (device), net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). The All England Open Badminton Championships is the world's oldest badminton tournament, held annually in England. With the introduction of the BWF's latest grading system, it was given Super Series status in 2007, upgraded to Super Series Premier status in 2011, and designated a Super 1000 event at the birth of the World Tour in 2018. Asian Games
The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years for athletes of Asia. Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex
The Bung Karno Sports Complex (), better known as Gelora Bung Karno; formerly named the Asian Games Complex ( and the Senayan Sports Complex () from 1969 to 2001, is a sports complex located in Gelora, Tanah Abang, Gelora, Central Jakarta, bordering the Senayan, Kebayoran Baru, Senayan, South Jakarta because of its large location. Salim Group
The Salim Group is Indonesia's biggest conglomerate and refers to companies where the Salim family holds majority ownership.
