PBS 106.7FM (call sign: PBS FM), also known as the Progressive Broadcasting Service, is a cooperatively owned community radio station in Melbourne, Australia, that broadcasts on 106.7FM, Digital radio and online. PBS celebrated its 40th year of broadcast in 2019. PBS is a specialist contemporary music radio station hosting approximately 80 programmes per week. The key to its musical diversity is that, as volunteers, PBS announcers independently choose their own content according to genre or theme. Volunteer efforts are both behind the scenes and on air. The PBS vision is to nurture, inspire and champion Melbourne's diverse music community. The station dropped the "3" from its call sign before the turn of the century, preferring in the age of internet streaming and digital radio to be known as just PBS, PBS-FM, or PBS 106.7 FM. Mount Dandenong is a small township/suburb of Greater Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, east from Melbourne's central business district, located within the Shire of Yarra Ranges local government area. The Community Cup (known as the Reclink Community Cup since 2009 under naming rights) is an annual charity event which features a celebrity mixed-gender Australian rules football match. It is noted for its cult following, celebrity appearances and media profile. First run in Melbourne in 1997, since 2012 it has expanded nationally, being hosted in every state capital including Sydney (2012-), Adelaide and Perth/Fremantle (2015-), Hobart and Brisbane (2016-).
