PBA Regional Tour
The PBA Regional Tour is a series of "mini tours", run by the Professional Bowlers Association, spanning across seven regions within the United States. The Tour allows PBA members and qualifying non-member amateurs to compete in weekend events. The Tour consists of seven regions: Central, East, Midwest, Northwest, South, Southwest, and West. Ten-pin Bowling
Tenpin bowling is a type of bowling in which a bowler bowling form, rolls a bowling ball down a wood or synthetic lane toward ten pins positioned Tetractys, evenly in four rows in an equilateral triangle. The goal is to knock down all ten Bowling pin, pins on the first roll of the ball (a strike), or failing that, on the second roll (a spare). While most people approach modern tenpin bowling as a simple recreational pastime, those who bowl competitively, especially at the highest levels, consider it a demanding sport requiring precision and skill. Mechanicsville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hanover County, Virginia, United States. Thomas Peter "Tom" Clark (born April 29, 1969) is an American sports executive who has served as Commissioner of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) since 2011. Clark took over as commissioner following the retirement of Fred Schreyer, who had filled the dual role of PBA Commissioner and CEO since 2005. Early life Clark was born in Syracuse, New York and attended West Genesee High School in Camillus, New York. He then attended Buffalo State University where he received his Bachelor's degree in journalism. An avid bowler since early childhood, Clark says he chose Buffalo State specifically because it had a bowling program. He became a member of the school's bowling team and competed nationally. The PBA Tour is the major professional tour for tenpin bowling, operated by the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA). Headquartered in Mechanicsville, Virginia, over 3,000 members worldwide make up the PBA. Deo Benard (born December 24, 2003) is an American professional ten-pin bowler who competes as a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA). At age 20, Benard won the 2024 PBA WSOB XV Cheetah Championship, defeating top seed and multiple PBA Tour titlist Marshall Kent. He bowls using the two-handed shovel style delivery with a dominant left hand. Before his first national PBA Tour win, he was a multiple-time PBA Regional Tour winner. At age 16, he was the youngest PBA member to win a Regional title. He won three Regional titles in 2023 alone at age 19, and was named PBA Southwest Region Player of the Year.
