Provincial Assembly Of Balochistan
The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. The Assembly has 51 directly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly, representing Constituency, constituencies from each district, as well as 11 seats reserved for women and 3 for non-Muslims. The Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) (: is a political party of the Hazara people in Pakistan. It is mainly active in Quetta city, where up to half a million Hazara currently reside. Abdul Khaliq Hazara (politician)
Abdul Khaliq Hazara () is a Pakistani politician in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. He has been the Chairman of Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) since November 2010, and has been a member of the Quetta city council. Political career Abdul Khaliq Hazara started his political career from Hazara Student Federation during his student life. He has been active for the rights of the Hazara People in Quetta, where they are in minority. He remained Naib Nazim of Quetta District Balochistan. Quetta
Quetta is the capital and largest city of the Pakistani province of Balochistan. It is the ninth largest city in Pakistan, with an estimated population of over 1.6 million in 2024. Quetta () is a Districts of Pakistan, district in the northwestern part of the Balochistan province of Pakistan(occupied illegally). 2024 Balochistan Provincial Election
Provincial elections were held in Balochistan on 8 February 2024 to elect a new provincial legislature. On 5 August 2023, after the approval of the results of the 2023 digital census by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, elections have been delayed for several months, as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023.
