P. K. Gopalakrishnan (March 1924 - 14 September 2009) was an Indian parliamentarian and a leader of the Communist Party of India. He was the Deputy Speaker in the fifth Kerala Legislative Assembly from 6 July 1977 to 23 October 1979. Biography Gopalakrishnan was a member in the First Legislative Assembly of Madras constituted under the Constitution of India, representing the Nattika Constituency in the Madras Assembly from 1952 to 1956. He was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1967 from Kodungallur Constituency. He was again elected to the Fifth K.L.A. (1977 to 1979) and Sixth K.L.A. (1980 to 1982) from the Nattika Constituency. The Communist Party of India (CPI) is a political party in India. The CPI considers the Foundation of the Communist Party of India, December 26, 1925 Cawnpore (Kanpur) conference as its foundation date. Between 1946 and 1951, the CPI led militant struggles such as the Telangana Rebellion, peasant revolt in Telangana, organising guerrilla warfare against feudal lords. Nattika
Nattika is a small village in Thrissur district of Kerala state, South India. It is centrally located about 25 km from Thrissur, Kodungallur, Irinjalakuda, Chavakkad, Kunnamkulam and Guruvayur. Nattika is beside the Arabian Sea. There is a beach in this village called Nattika Beach. Nattika Beach was previously known as ''Attakuzhi Bandhar Kadapuram''.
