Iecava River
The Iecava is a river in Latvia, in the regions of Selonia and Semigallia. Its Source (river or stream), source is formed from several Spring (hydrosphere), springs in Daudzese Parish, Aizkraukle Municipality. Its mouth is located 4 km below the town of Jelgava on the Lielupe river. The Iecava flows through Taurkalne and Upmale plains of Middle Latvia lowlands () where its Bank (geography), banks are mainly Forest, wooded. Semigallia
Semigallia is one of the Historical Latvian Lands located to the south of the Daugava and to the north of the Saule region of Samogitia.
