Oxygen OS
OxygenOS () is an Android-based operating system (OS) developed by Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus exclusively for their smartphones. OxygenOS was developed for their overseas market. There used to also be another version of the OS designed specifically for the Chinese market called HydrogenOS (). In an interview published on 3 September 2016, XDA Developers revealed OnePlus was "actively merging both platforms (OxygenOS and HydrogenOS) into a single cohesive operating system based on Android". The OnePlus X is an Android smartphone developed by OnePlus. It was released on 29 October 2015, three months after the release of the company's second flagship, the OnePlus 2 on 27 July. The OnePlus 3T (also abbreviated as OP3T) is a smartphone made by OnePlus. It is the successor to the OnePlus 3 and was revealed on 15 November 2016. It is an incremental update to the company's flagship phone being released only 6 months later. It features the identical Optic AMOLED display, the same Sony IMX298 rear camera sensor, and the same Dash Charge technology as its predecessor. The OnePlus 5T is an Android-based smartphone produced, released and marketed by OnePlus. It was unveiled on 16 November 2017 via a live streamed press event which aired on YouTube. The OnePlus 5 (also abbreviated as OP5) is a smartphone made by OnePlus. It is the successor to the OnePlus 3T, which was released in 2016. The OnePlus 5 was officially unveiled during a keynote on 20 June 2017 and first released on June 20, 2017. It was succeeded by the OnePlus 5T five months later on November 21, 2017. History ''The Verge'' announced in May 2017 that the successor to the OnePlus 3 would be known as the OnePlus 5. While OnePlus did not officially state why the number four was skipped, it was speculated that it was due to the number four being considered unlucky (tetraphobia) in China. OnePlus 6T
The OnePlus 6T is an Android-based smartphone from OnePlus. It was announced on October 29, 2018, before being released on November 6. The launch was originally scheduled for October 30, but was rescheduled to avoid coinciding with Apple Inc.'s on October 30. The OnePlus 6T is an incremental hardware update to the prior OnePlus 6. Namely through increasing the size of the display along with the device's screen-to-body ratio (to 6.41" and by about 2% respectively) by slightly shrinking the bottom "chin" bezel and using a taller, 19.5:9 AMOLED panel with more heavily curved corners & significantly smaller "teardrop" shaped "notch". The OnePlus 6 is an Android smartphone made by OnePlus. It was unveiled on 2 May 2018 and went on sale on 21-22 May 2018. History In March 2018, it was announced that the phone would have a "notch", but that there would be an option to hide it. On 2 April 2018, it was confirmed that the premium edition of the OnePlus 6 would feature the Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. OnePlus opened forums for the OnePlus 6 in April 2018. One week after the Oneplus 6 went on sale, OnePlus acknowledged a software bug that caused the device to drop all audio when a phone call was switched to speakerphone. OnePlus 7T
The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are Android-based smartphones manufactured by OnePlus. The 7T was unveiled on 26 September 2019, and the 7T Pro was unveiled on 10 October 2019. The McLaren edition from the 6T returns on the 7T Pro. Both have minor upgrades as with previous T phones, such as new software, upgraded cameras and a faster chipset.
