Ovie Soko (born 7 February 1991) is a British professional basketball player for the London Lions of the British Basketball League (BBL). Soko played college basketball for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Duquesne University. He entered the 2014 NBA draft but he was not selected in the draft's two rounds. In 2019, he joined the fifth series of British reality show '' Love Island''. He placed third in the show. Ovie P. Oghoufo (born March 27, 2000) is an American professional football defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Texas Longhorns, and LSU Tigers before being signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent. Early life and high school Oghoufo attended high school at Harrison in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege (born 3 August 1963) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who served as the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate from 2019 to 2023. He was the senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District from 2015 to 2023. Omo-Agege was first elected to the Senate in 2015. He is from the Orogun clan of the Urhobo ethnic group in Ughelli North local Government area of Delta State. He won the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting for his coverage of famine in Africa and India together with a reporter William Mullen. Ovie Alston
Overton "Ovie" Alston (December 14, 1905 – 1989) was an American jazz trumpeter, vocalist, and bandleader. Alston played with Bill Brown and His Brownies in New York in 1928, recording with them for Brunswick Records. He was hired by Claude Hopkins in 1931 and remained with him until 1936; it is for this association that he is best known. After leaving Hopkins he started his own band, playing at the Apollo Theater, the Plantation Club, the Ubangi Club and the Roseland Ballroom in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Ovie Scurlock (November 11, 1918 – June 14, 2016) was an American jockey in Thoroughbred horse racing. Born in Paintsville, Kentucky, Scurlock began his professional riding career in 1938 at Fairmount Park Racetrack in Collinsville, Illinois. A year later, on August 26, 1939, at Ellis Park Racecourse in Henderson, Kentucky, he rode a three-year-old colt, Mr. Ambassador, to a world record time of 1:39 2/5 for a mile and 40 yards.
