Chord Paul Overstreet (born February 17, 1989) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Sam Evans on the Fox television series ''Glee'' (2009–2015). He has starred in the Apple TV+ comedy series ''Acapulco'' since 2021. After signing to Safehouse Records, he began a career as a solo musical artist. Jesse E. Overstreet (December 14, 1859 – May 27, 1910) was an American lawyer and politician who served seven terms as a U.S. Representative from Indiana from 1895 to 1909.
