Overdrive (band)
Overdrive is a Serbian hardcore punk/metalcore band from Zrenjanin. History The band was formed in 1992 by Dragan Midorović (guitar). The band performed as a cover band with various band lineups until the arrival of Damir Milutinov (vocals) and Aleksandar Midorović (guitar), when they started writing their own material. The band released their debut album ''No More Words'' through the independent record label Boa Records. Beside the three members, the album also featured Aleksandar Vujnov (bass guitar) and Nebojša Mitrović (drums). The follow-up, the album ''Everything's Fine'', featured the new drummer Branislav Đerić. Live versions of the songs from the first two studio albums were included on the third studio album ''Movement'', released through PGP-RTS. The album also featured a cover version of the Madonna song "Erotica". The album was recorded with Dragan Živković (bass guitar) and Slobodan Levakov (drums). Sziget Festival
The Sziget Festival ( hu, Sziget Fesztivál, ; "Sziget" for "Island") is one of the largest music and cultural festivals in Europe. It is held every August in northern Budapest, Hungary, on Óbudai-sziget ("Old Buda Island"), a leafy 108-hectare (266-acre) island on the Danube. More than 1,000 performances take place each year. The week-long festival has grown from a relatively low-profile student event in 1993 to become one of the prominent European rock festivals, with about half of all visitors coming from outside Hungary, especially from Western Europe. It also has a dedicated "party train" service (with resident DJs) that transports festival-goers from all over Europe. The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and Rapping, MC and vocalist Maxim (musician), Maxim. They were pioneers of the breakbeat hardcore, breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, and achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. Howlett's rock-inspired drum rhythms infused with electronic rave music beats/breaks were combined with Maxim's omnipresent mystique, Thornhill's shuffle dancing style, and Flint's later modern punk appearance. Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. Soulfly is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1997, and later based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Soulfly is led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, who formed the band after he left the Brazilian group in 1996. To date the band has released twelve studio albums, one tour EP, twenty-three singles, one video album, and twelve music videos. Zrenjanin
Zrenjanin ( sr-Cyrl, Зрењанин, ; hu, Nagybecskerek; ro, Becicherecu Mare; sk, Zreňanin; german: Großbetschkerek) is a city and the administrative center of the Central Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The city urban area has a population of 76,511 inhabitants, while the city administrative area has 123,362 inhabitants (2011 census data). The old name for Zrenjanin is Veliki Bečkerek or ''Nagybecskerek'' as it was known under Austria-Hungary up until 1918.
