Ove Lundell
Ove Vilmer Lundell (29 May 1930 – 4 September 2001) was a Swedish professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1958 to 1965. Lundell was one of the top off-road motorcyclists of his era coming from Sweden, a nation that produced many of the sport's first world champions. Motorcycling career Lundell was born in Möklinta outside Sala in the county of Västmanland, Sweden. His career began at the age of fifteen, when he performed at Swedish circuses where he rode Wall of Death carnival sideshows on an old Indian motorcycle. Lundell worked during the 1950s and 1960s as a rider for the Monark factory racing team. Monark was a large Swedish bicycle and motorcycle manufacturer that was also involved in construction and development. 1963 FIM Motocross World Championship
The 1963 Motocross World Championship was the 7th edition of the Motocross World Championship organized by the FIM and reserved for 500cc and 250cc motorcycles. Summary Rolf Tibblin claimed his second consecutive 500cc motocross world championship with his countryman, Sten Lundin taking second place. Tibblin took five Grand Prix victories riding for the Husqvarna factory racing team. Tibblin's Husqvarna teammate Torsten Hallman also claimed his second consecutive 250cc motocross world championship in dominating fashion by winning 8 of the 14 Grand Prix races. Enduro Riders
Enduro is a form of motorcycle sport run on extended cross-country, off-road courses. Enduro consists of many different obstacles and challenges. The main type of enduro event, and the format to which the World Enduro Championship is run, is a time-card enduro, whereby a number of stages are raced in a time trial against the clock. Time-keeping enduros In a traditional time-keeping enduro, riders leave together in groups or rows, and each row starts at a certain minute. The object of the event is to arrive at pre-defined checkpoints according to a strict schedule. Early or late arrivals result in the riders' scores being penalized. Throughout a day there will also be allocated periods for refuelling and servicing the machine. Halland

International Six Days Enduro
The International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), formerly known as the International Six Days Trial (ISDT), is the oldest 'off-road' motorcycle event on the FIM Calendar. The ISDT was first held in 1913 at Carlisle, England. It has occurred annually, apart from interruptions due to World War I and World War II, at various locations throughout the world. The early events were a true test of machine, rider skill and reliability. Held on the 'roads' of that era, today most of the routes are truly 'off-road'.
