Nile Rodgers
Nile Gregory Rodgers Jr. (born September 19, 1952) is an American musician, songwriter, guitarist and record producer. The co-founder of Chic, he has written, produced, and performed on records that have sold more than 750 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide. Formed as the Big Apple Band in 1972 with bassist Bernard Edwards, Chic released their self-titled debut album in 1977; it featured the hit singles " Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)" and " Everybody Dance". The 1978 album '' C'est Chic'' included " I Want Your Love" and " Le Freak", with the latter selling more than seven million singles worldwide. The song " Good Times" from the 1979 album ''Risqué'' was a number one single on the pop and soul charts, and became one of the most-sampled songs of all time, predominantly in hip-hop, starting with the Sugarhill Gang's " Rapper's Delight". Spensha Baker is an American singer from San Antonio, Texas. She is best known for coming in fourth place on the fourteenth season of '' The Voice''. Career Spensha Baker started her singing career at a very young age as a 2004 contestant on ''Star Search''. She performed at the White House for President George W. Bush. She released her first album, ''Outloud!'', explaining that she named it ''Outloud!'', because "that is the way I live my life: Openly. I want to succeed and fail out loud. I want to laugh out loud, breathe out loud, love out loud, and live out loud. Not only is this my personal anthem, but I’m positive it can be an anthem for everyone.
