Otto Ruoppi
Otto Ruoppi (born 31 January 2006) is a Finnish professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Veikkausliiga side KuPS. Club career KuPS After playing in a youth sector of his home town club Kuopion Palloseura, Ruoppi started his senior career in 2021 at the age of 15 with KuFu-98, the club's reserve team at the time, playing in third-tier Kakkonen. MP (loan) He was loaned out to second-tier Ykkönen club Mikkelin Palloilijat for the 2023 season. During the season, he made 30 appearances for MP in all competitions combined, scoring two goals, as MP surprisingly finished in the 3rd place of the 2023 Ykkönen. Return to KuPS On 6 April 2024, Ruoppi debuted in Veikkausliiga with KuPS first team, as a starter in the opening match of the 2024 season, in a 3–1 home win against HJK Helsinki. 2024 Kuopion Palloseura Season

2023 Veikkausliiga
The 2023 Veikkausliiga was the 93rd season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. The winners ( HJK, their fourth successive title win and thirty-third overall) qualified for the Champions League first qualifying round. The 2023 Finnish Cup winners (Ilves) qualified for the Conference League second qualifying round. The second-placed team (KuPS) and Conference League play-off winners ( VPS) qualified for the Conference League first qualifying round. The 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-17 football competition that determined the 15 teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Hungary in the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship final tournament. 2024 Finnish Cup
The 2024 Finnish Cup was the 70th season of the Finnish Cup football competition. The winners qualified for the 2025–26 Conference League second qualifying round. Ilves were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by HJK in Round 5. KuPS won the cup on 21 September 2024 (their fifth Finnish Cup win), defeating Inter Turku 2–1 in the final, which was played in a new Tammelan Stadion, opened in 2023. For the first time in adult football matches played in the Finnish leagues, a VAR system was used in the semi-finals and a final.
