Ottavio Mastrojanni (19 February 1896 - 31 January 1957) was an Italian politician. Mastrojanni was born in Nicosia, Sicily. Nicosia (; Gallo-Italic of Sicily: ; ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the province of Enna, in the Italian region of Sicily. It is located at 720 metres above sea level, on a rocky massive culminating in four imposing hills. The origin of Nicosia is uncertain. Nicosia and Troina are the northernmost towns in the province of Enna. The vicinity was traditionally made up of salt mines and arable lands. History Engio, Erbita and Imachara are the three cities of antiquity with which historians have attempted to identify Nicosia, but there is no evidence that the mentioned towns are in fact Nicosia. The present name of the town suggests Greek Origins: it is believed to get its name from Saint Nicholas (), who together with San Felix are the patrons of the town, . The Common Man's Front (, FUQ), also translated as Front of the Ordinary Man, was a short-lived right-wing populist, monarchism, monarchist and anti-communism, anti-communist political party in Italy. It was formed shortly after the end of the World War II, Second World War and participated in the first post-war 1946 Italian general election, election for the constituent assembly in 1946. The Italian Constituent Assembly ( Italian: ''Assemblea Costituente della Repubblica Italiana'') was a parliamentary chamber which existed in Italy from 25 June 1946 until 31 January 1948. It was tasked with writing a constitution for the Italian Republic, which had replaced the Kingdom of Italy after the 1946 Italian institutional referendum. The assembly was formed by the representatives of all the anti-fascist forces that contributed to the defeat of Nazi and Fascist forces during the liberation of Italy.
