Oswaldo Cabrera
Oswaldo Alberto Cabrera (born March 1, 1999) is a Venezuelan professional baseball utility player for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He signed with the Yankees as a free agent when he was 16 years old. He made his MLB debut in 2022. Cabrera has appeared at every position in MLB except for catcher. Early life Cabrera is from Guarenas in Venezuela. His father, Leobardo, was a professional volleyball player. His brothers, Eleardo and Leobaldo, also played baseball. Cabrera trained at the baseball academy run by Carlos Guillén. Career Cabrera signed with the New York Yankees as a free agent when he was 16 years old. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, often abbreviated to SWB RailRiders, are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. They are located in Moosic, Pennsylvania, in the Wyoming Valley, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, and are named in reference to Northeastern Pennsylvania being home to the first tram, trolley system in the United States. The Somerset Patriots are an American professional Minor League Baseball (MiLB) team based in Bridgewater, New Jersey. They are the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. They compete in the Eastern League (EL), known as the Double-A Northeast in 2021, and were previously members of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) from 1998 to 2020. José Orlando Berríos (born May 27, 1994), nicknamed "La Makina" (Spanish for "The Machine"), is a Puerto Rican professional baseball pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB).
