Lidija Osterc (1928 - 2006) was a Slovene painter and illustrator, best known for her illustrations of children's books. Milan Osterc
Milan Osterc (; born 4 July 1975) is a Slovenian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Osterc started his career at Veržej, where he was the top goalscorer of the 1993–94 Slovenian Second League season. In the 2001–02 UEFA Cup, he reached the quarter-finals of the competition with Hapoel Tel Aviv, scoring seven goals in the process. In the 2009–10 season, he was the top scorer of the Slovenian first division, 1. SNL, with 23 goals. International career Osterc played 44 matches for Slovenia, scoring 8 goals. He was a participant at Euro 2000 and the 2002 FIFA World Cup. On 10 November 2001, he scored a goal against Romania in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-offs, helping to secure his country's first-ever World Cup appearance as an independent country. Slavko Osterc
Slavko Osterc (17 June 1895 – 23 May 1941), was a Slovenian composer. Osterc was born in Veržej. He studied under Emerik Beran, who was a pupil of Leoš Janáček, in his youth before attending the Prague Conservatory from 1925 to 1927. While there he studied under Karel Boleslav Jirák, Vítězslav Novák, and Alois Hába. Osterc was a professor at the Ljubljana Conservatory for much of his career, remaining there until his death. Slavko Osterc Ensemble
The Slavko Osterc Ensemble (''Ansambel Slavko Osterc'') was a Slovenian chamber orchestra formed under the direction of Ivo Petrič in 1962. Named after Slovenian composer Slavko Osterc, the ensemble toured throughout Europe performing works by modern composers active in the former Yugoslavian countries.
