Oserian Football Club is a football club based in Naivasha, Kenya. They currently play in the Kenyan National Super League and are supported by the Oserian flower farm. History Oserian F.C. were promoted to the Kenyan Premier League after winning the FKL Nationwide League in 2011, but were relegated again after finishing 15th in 2012. Oserian Grounds
Oserian (Masai language, Masai, "Place of Peace"; locally, The Gin Palace; later, Djinn Palace) is a flower farm on the south shores of Lake Naivasha, Nakuru County, Kenya. It is Africa's largest rose producer. Oserian's wildlife corridor is more than in width through its property with reaches to the lake; it occupies more than of shoreline. History Originally a country estate, the Moorish architecture, Moorish-style mansion was built in 1927 by Major Cyril Ramsay-Hill, a rancher, former officer in an Indian regiment, and sometime Hollywood actor. It was based on his grandmother's home in Seville, Spain. 2012 Kenyan Premier League
The 2012 Kenyan Premier League (known as the Tusker Premier League for sponsorship reasons) was the ninth season of the Kenyan Premier League since its establishment in 2003 and the forty-ninth season of top division football in Kenya since 1963. It began on 11 February with Tusker and Nairobi City Stars and ended on 10 November with Oserian and Rangers. The winners of the league will earn a place at the preliminary round of the 2013 CAF Champions League and play against the 2012 FKF President's Cup champions at the 2013 Kenyan Super Cup. Kenyan Women's Premier League
The Kenyan Women's Premier League is the top tier women's football league in the Kenyan football league system. It is controlled by the Football Kenya Federation. History The first women's football league in Kenya has been created in 1985. In 2010 no league was running any more because of financial problems. Vegpro is a Kenyan football club based in Naivasha. They currently compete in the Kenyan National Super League, the second tier of Kenyan football. They play their home games at the Naivasha Stadium. The club was founded in 1994 as Sher Agencies Football Club. In 2002 it played in the Nationwide League and won promotion to the Premier League with the help of two notable names: Anthony Wekesa and Jacob Abu Omondi who were the force behind their promotion. The club was formerly owned by Sher Karuturi Limited, the largest flower producer in Kenya, a subsidiary of Karuturi Global Limited, an Indian company. 2011 Kenyan Nationwide League
The 2011 Kenyan Nationwide League was the 48th season of the Kenyan Nationwide League. Oserian F.C., Oserian and Muhoroni Youth F.C., Muhoroni Youth finished top in their zones, but the latter's promotion was heavily questioned, as the KFF Nationwide League season was inconclusive. Former Kenya Football Federation, KFF chairman Mohamed Hatimy said that Muhoroni Youth's promotion was unconstitutional as the league they played in was "unknown". He continued to say that there was only one Nationwide League; that run by the Football Kenya Limited, FKL and any promoted teams should have come from the FKL Nationwide League. The Kenyan Nationwide League was the second-division football league in Kenya, until it was replaced by FKF Division One. There is promotion and relegation with the Kenyan Premier League and the Kenyan Provincial League. History In 2008 Nationwide league was divided into two zones with 16 teams each. Kenyan Premier League
The Kenyan Premier League (KPL), officially known as the FKF Premier League and as the BetKing Premier League (BPL) for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs in Kenya. Standing at the top of the Kenyan football league system, the league was formed in 1963 under the Kenya Football Federation but is now controlled by the Football Kenya Federation. It is contested by 18 clubs and operates on a promotion and relegation system with the Kenyan National Super League. Tusker are the current champions having won the 2021–22 season.
