Oro FC, known for sponsorship reasons as NC Civil Works Oro FC and briefly as Oro Bird Wing FC, is a semi-professional soccer club founded in 2013 and hailing from Oro Province, Papua New Guinea, but playing their home games Port Moresby. The club competed in three editions of the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, the country's top division. Their finest moment came in the 2014 Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, 2014 edition, when they finished second in the regular season before finishing fourth in the playoffs. Lae City FC, formerly known as Lae City Dwellers FC or Toti City FC, is a professional soccer club founded in 2014 and based in Lae, Papua New Guinea. The side currently plays in the Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, the highest level of soccer competition in PNG. Alongside Hekari United, the club is one of only two sides to have won a Papua New Guinea National Soccer League. The 2019 Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited National Soccer League, was the 13th edition of Papua New Guinea National Soccer League, the top-tier football league in Papua New Guinea. Overtime (sports)
Overtime (OT) or extra time (ET) is an additional period of play to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament and replays are not allowed.
