Orizatlán
Orizatlán (officially: San Felipe Orizatlán) is a town and one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Orizatlán. The municipality covers an area of 308 km². As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 38,472. Toponymy Its name is due in its first part to the patron saint San Felipe de Jesús and in the second part to the Greek root ''oryza'' (rice) and the voice Náhuatl ''tlan'' ( place), so it is understood that it means "place of rice".The etymological origin of the name of a municipality can have different interpretations or have an uncertain origin, this is the most common or most accepted by the municipal government and its residents, according to the ''Encyclopedia of the Municipalities of Mexico.'' Hidalgo is a state in central Mexico divided into 84 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican census, Hidalgo is the 16th most populous state with inhabitants and the 26th largest by land area spanning . Huejutla
Huejutla de Reyes is a city and one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. The name comes from the Nahuatl ''huexotl'' ("willow") and ''tlan'' ("place"), while "de Reyes" commemorates local cobbler Antonio Reyes Cabrera who died defending Huejutla from French invaders in 1866. The municipality covers an area of 377.8 km2 in the northeast of Hidalgo, in the Huasteca region, on the border with the state of Veracruz. As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 115,786. but only 36,305 live in the metropolitan area, whereas the remaining population live in various small communities. Philip of Jesus, OFM (Spanish: ''Felipe de Jesús''; 1572 – 1597) was a Spanish Franciscan missionary who became one of the Twenty-six Martyrs of Japan. He is the first Mexican Catholic saint and is the patron saint of Mexico City. Life Felipe de las Casas Ruiz was born in Mexico City in 1572. His parents had recently emigrated from Spain. Though unusually frivolous as a boy, he joined the Reformed Franciscans of the Province of St. Didacus, founded in Mexico by Peter Baptista, with whom he suffered martyrdom later. After some months in the Order, Philip grew tired of religious life, and left the Franciscans. He took up a mercantile career, and went to the Philippines, another Spanish colony, where he led a life of pleasure.
