Oren Soffer
Oren Soffer (Hebrew: אורן סופר) (born July 2, 1988) is an Israeli-American cinematographer. He is best known for his work on the science fiction film '' The Creator'' (2023), which he filmed as co-cinematographer with Greig Fraser, as well as '' Allswell in New York'' (2022), ''Fixation'' (2022), ''A Nightmare Wakes'' (2020), and ''Opera of Cruelty'' (2017). Career Soffer studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and was nominated for the American Society of Cinematographers Gordon Willis Student Heritage Award in 2015. He has been an adjunct professor at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2022, he was brought in by Grieg Fraser to take over as director of photography for the main production shoot of Gareth Edwards' science fiction film '' The Creator'', which was filmed in Thailand from January to May of that year, while Fraser worked on the film's pre-production before moving to a remote role due to his commitment to '' Dune: Part Two''. Scott Aharoni (born January 4, 1994) is an American film producer and director. He is a co-Founder of Curious Gremlin, an American independent entertainment company specializing in film and television development, production and financing. Early life and education Aharoni was born in Great Neck, New York, on January 4, 1994. He grew up studying the art of sleight of hand magic and even performed on stage and at special events. He was introduced to moviemaking in middle school. The First Run Festival is an annual event showcasing over 120 intermediate and advanced projects in film, video, and animation. It is presented by the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television. and held in New York City. The event first ran in 1986. The selection runs a gamut of undergraduate and graduate films ranging between narratives, documentaries and animation produced during the filmmakers' time in the program. The work is evaluated by a trio of juries: a three-judge Undergraduate Intermediate panel looks at submissions from junior level courses; Graduate and Undergraduate Industry each have six-judge panels. "Pink Pony Club" is a 2020 song by American pop musician Chappell Roan featured on the artist's 2023 album '' The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess''. The song received widespread acclaim from critics upon release. Background and composition After the release of her single "Die Young," Roan signed to Atlantic Records in 2017 and moved from her hometown of Willard, Missouri to Los Angeles the following year.
