Greg Macpherson
Gregory Hector Macpherson (born May 3, 1950) is a Democratic politician in the US state of Oregon. From 2003 to 2009, he served as the state representative from District 38, which includes most of Lake Oswego and portions of southwestern Portland. Early life Macpherson was born in Corvallis, Oregon, and grew up in rural Linn County. His paternal grandfather, Hector Macpherson, Sr., was elected in 1926, 1928, and 1938 as a progressive Republican member the Oregon Legislative Assembly. During his political career his grandfather helped found the Oregon Department of Education. His father, Hector Jr., served in the Oregon State Senate and was a cosponsor of the 1973 law that established Oregon's land-use planning system. Macpherson earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1972 and his law degree from Georgetown University in 1975. He was admitted to the Oregon bar in 1975. Richard Devlin (American Politician)
Richard Devlin (born September 9, 1952) is an American politician who served in the Oregon State Senate from 2003 to 2018, representing the 19th Senate district. Early life and education Devlin was born in Eugene. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Portland State University in 1976 and a Master of Arts in Management from Pepperdine University in 1980. Career He has worked in adult and juvenile corrections and as a civil and criminal investigator. From 1985 to 1988, Devlin was a member of the Tualatin City Council. In 1988, he was elected to the Metro Council, serving on it until 1995. In 1994, Devlin won the Democratic nomination to the Oregon House of Representatives representing the 24th district, but lost in the general election to Republican Bob Tiernan. Lawrence A. Galizio (born January 27, 1964) is an American politician and academic who served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 35 from 2004 to 2010. Early life and education Galizio was born in Los Angeles, California. Merwyn Ronald "Mitch" Greenlick (March 12, 1935 – May 15, 2020) was a Democratic Party of Oregon, Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Oregon. He represented Oregon's 33rd House district, District 33 of the Oregon House of Representatives. Early life and career Greenlick was born in 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, into a Jewish family. He attended McCarroll Elementary School and graduated from Central High School (Detroit), Central High School in 1952. Sam Chase
Samuel Chase (April 17, 1741 – June 19, 1811) was a Founding Father of the United States, signer of the Continental Association and United States Declaration of Independence as a representative of Maryland, and Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. In 1804, Chase was impeached by the House of Representatives on grounds of letting his partisan leanings affect his court decisions, but was acquitted the following year by the Senate and remained in office. Chuck Riley (born May 31, 1939) is an American politician who served as a member of the Oregon State Senate for the 15th district, which includes Hillsboro, Forest Grove, and Cornelius in western Washington County. He served three terms in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. Riley was the Democratic nominee for Senate District 15 in 2010, losing to incumbent state senator Bruce Starr.
