Optimum Motorsport is a British sports car racing team based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire that primarily competes with Ginetta and McLaren GT cars. Optimum also race under the Inception Racing banner with Ferrari. Their record includes championship wins in 2013 British GT4, class wins at 2012 and 2015 Dubai 24H, 2017 24h Series class champions, and most recently several British GT, GT Open, and AsLMS podiums and championships. Wakefield is a cathedral city in West Yorkshire, England located on the River Calder. The city had a population of 109,766 in the 2021 census, up from 99,251 in the 2011 census. Frank Stippler (born 9 April 1975) is a German racing driver. He has competed in such series as Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, Rolex Sports Car Series and the Swedish Touring Car Championship. The 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship was the tenth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, an auto racing series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). Ginetta Cars Limited is a British specialist builder of racing and sports cars based in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. History 20th century Ginetta was founded in 1958 by four Walklett brothers (Bob, Ivor, Trevers and Douglas) in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
