Optand Teknikland
Teknikland is a military history and technology museum which is located at the Östersund-Optand airfield southwest of Östersund. Teknikland has one of Sweden's largest collections of civilian and military aircraft. On the grounds howitzers, Bofors guns and armoured personal carriers are also displayed. History Teknikland was opened on 5 June 2010. The basis for the museum was the Jämtlands Flyg- och Lottamuseum which opened in 1994. The museum is run by the Aktiebolag Jämtland Teknikland AB. Shareholders are ''Jamtli'' and a number of nonprofit organizations. The museum is funded by ''Statens Försvarshistoriska museer'', the European Regional Development Fund, and private donors. Östersund
Östersund (; sma, Staare) is an urban area (city) in Jämtland in the middle of Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality and the capital of Jämtland County. Östersund is located at the shores of Sweden's fifth-largest lake, Storsjön, opposite the island Frösön. It is the only city in Jämtland. Tydal is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Ås. Other villages include Østby, Gressli, Aunet, and Stugudalen. Västerås Flygmuseum
Västerås Flygmuseum ("Västerås Aviation Museum") is a museum dedicated to flight and aviation history. It is located in Västerås, in an old hangar at Västerås Airport (IATA: VST, ICAO: ESOW) in Sweden, located 100 km west of the capital city, but inside Västerås city limits. The Norrland Artillery Regiment ( sv, Norrlands artilleriregemente), designation A 4, was a Swedish Army artillery regiment that traced its origins back to the 19th century. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the provinces of Norrland. The regiment was disbanded in 1997. From 1998 to 2000, the Boden Artillery Regiment was known by this name.
